BlitzPage

Terms of Service

Short, fair terms for every BlitzPage website, in plain English. Version November 2026 (US).

1. Who we are and how you accept

These terms are an agreement between you (“the Client”) and BlitzPage, run by Pedro Fernandes Raposo (“BlitzPage”, “we”). I am an individual and I work from Brazil. You can reach us at [email protected]. You accept these terms electronically: you check the box, type your full name (your signature) and send your order. Under U.S. federal law (the E-SIGN Act) and state law (the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act, where your state has adopted it), an electronic signature has the same force as one on paper. We keep a record of your name, the date and time, and the version of the terms, for at least 3 years, and we e-mail you a copy. You can also save or print this page. You confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you are ordering for your business. If you are ordering for personal use, clause 19 also applies to you.

2. What we build

We design, build and publish a website for your business (“the Website”) from the choices you make in our customizer and the details and material you send us. The scope is the pages, sections and features in your order. Anything outside it, such as an online store, a booking system, extra pages, copywriting or a logo, is quoted separately and agreed in writing before we start it.

3. Free preview and prices

You see a live preview before you pay anything. It is not live on the internet and carries no obligation. The price shown for your package, and the monthly care shown next to it, stay valid for 30 days from your order. If you want something different later, we agree a new price in writing. All prices are in U.S. dollars.

4. Price and extra costs

The one-time price is the amount shown for your package, or the price we agree with you in writing. It is one payment for the agreed scope. The price does not include sales tax or use tax. If the law requires us to charge sales tax on your order, we show the tax amount before you pay; if not, you may owe use tax to your state yourself. Your price covers the registration of your web address, setup and hosting until your Website goes live. Paid extras, such as premium fonts, stock photos or paid plug-ins that you ask for, are quoted and agreed before we buy them.

5. Payment

All payments are made through PayPal, to keep your payment secure: you can pay with your PayPal balance or with a card, and PayPal’s own buyer protection rules may apply. After you approve the preview, we send you a payment link for the one-time price. We start the final build once it is paid. We never ask for card details by message or e-mail. A payment is due within 7 days of the link being sent. If something looks wrong, please write to us first so we can fix it fast; this does not limit your rights with PayPal or your card company.

6. Monthly care (automatic monthly charge)

The short version. Monthly care is a subscription. It starts the month after your Website goes live. It costs 5% of your one-time price, with a minimum of $27 a month, rounded up to the next whole dollar. The exact amount is shown next to your price when you order and again before you approve the payment. It renews automatically every month and we charge your PayPal account each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, for any reason, with one e-mail or in your PayPal account, and it costs nothing to cancel.

Your OK. We do not add monthly care to your order without your clear consent. You agree to it with its own box on the order form (not ticked for you), and you approve the recurring payment in PayPal. Before the first charge we e-mail you the amount and the date. We keep a record of your consent for at least 3 years.

What it covers. Hosting, the yearly renewal of your web address, security updates, small changes (text, photos, prices, opening hours) and support by e-mail or WhatsApp. It does not cover new pages, new features or redesigns, which are quoted separately.

Price changes. The amount stays the same for the first 12 months. After that we may change it. We e-mail you the new amount 30 days before it starts, and you may cancel before it takes effect. If you do not cancel, the new amount applies from that date.

Reminders. Once a year we e-mail you a reminder that says what you are paying for, how much, how often, and how to cancel.

How to cancel. Send an e-mail to [email protected] that says “cancel” (no reason needed), or cancel the automatic payment in your PayPal account. You do not need to call anyone or log in anywhere else. We confirm your cancellation by e-mail within 1 business day. Monthly care ends at the end of the month you have already paid for. We do not refund part of a month, and we do not charge anything for cancelling. See clause 16 for what happens to your Website after you cancel.

7. Your content and responsibilities

You send us the text, photos, logo and other material for the Website, and you promise you own it or have permission to use it, and that it is lawful, accurate and not misleading. You are responsible for the claims about your business (licenses, insurance, prices, guarantees) and for the legal duties of your own business, such as privacy policies for the customers you collect data from. We may refuse or remove content that is unlawful or that infringes someone else’s rights. If a third party claims that material you supplied infringes their rights, you will cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it. We do not use photos of children, and we do not build websites made to collect information from children under 13.

8. Review, changes and approval

Until you approve the Website, reasonable changes to wording, photos, colors and layout of the pages you ordered are included, in up to two rounds of changes. Each round should be one combined list. After that, further changes are quoted before we do them. You have 7 days to review each version we send. If you do not reply within 7 days, we treat the version as approved and may publish it.

9. Delivery and delays

We aim to deliver within 7 business days of payment and of receiving your material. Dates are estimates, not guarantees. If you are late sending material or feedback, the date moves, and we may reschedule your project according to our availability. If we hear nothing from you for 30 days while we wait for material or approval, we may close the order; payment already made covers the work done up to then. We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our control (illness, power or internet failure, a failure of a supplier such as hosting, domain or payment services).

10. Your web address

We register the web address you choose in your name, so you are the owner of it, and set it up at no extra charge. The yearly renewal is included in your monthly care, so there is nothing more to pay while you keep it. If you leave, we transfer the address to you on request, and from then on renewing it is up to you. If the yearly cost of the address is more than $25, half of that yearly cost, spread over 12 months, is added to your monthly care, and we show you the exact amount before you order and before you approve the payment. DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to take effect.

11. Ownership

You keep ownership of your content, name and logo. The design, code and layout we create are not a “work made for hire” and stay ours until the one-time price is paid in full; after that they are licensed to you for your own business for as long as you keep the monthly care. Tools, templates, code and know-how we already had, and fonts and images licensed by others, are not transferred to you. We may show the finished work in our portfolio, unless you tell us in writing before launch that you do not want that.

12. After launch

For 30 days after your Website goes live we fix, free of charge, any fault that makes it differ from the version you approved. This does not cover faults caused by changes you or others make, by your content, by old browsers, or by third-party services. After that, fixes are part of monthly care.

13. What we do not promise

We cannot promise a particular number of visitors, inquiries or customers, or a position on Google. We aim for the Website to be available 99% of the time, but this is a target, not a guarantee, as it depends on suppliers such as hosting and domain providers. We are not responsible for the failure of those suppliers. EXCEPT FOR WHAT THESE TERMS PROMISE (INCLUDING THE 30-DAY FIX IN CLAUSE 12), THE WEBSITE AND OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS”, AND WE GIVE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS.

14. Late or missed payment

If a monthly payment is more than 14 days late, we may pause the Website after giving you 7 days’ written notice. You still owe what is due. We do not charge late fees. When everything is paid, we put the Website back online.

15. Cancelling and refunds

You may cancel before we start the final build and get a full refund. After that, you may cancel at any time; we refund the part of the one-time price for work not yet done and keep the part for work already done. If the finished Website does not match the preview you approved and we cannot put it right within 7 days of you telling us, we refund what you paid for it in full. If we cannot deliver the Website, we refund in full. Refunds go back to the PayPal account you paid from.

16. Ending the agreement

Either of us may end the agreement if the other seriously breaks it and does not fix the problem within 14 days of written notice. We may end it straight away if you ask us to publish unlawful content. When the agreement ends, we give you a copy of your content and photos within 14 days if you ask, and we hand over your web address. The monthly care ends and we may take the Website offline at the end of the paid month.

17. Responsibility

We take reasonable care and skill in building the Website. OUR TOTAL RESPONSIBILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO WHAT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST PROFIT, LOST DATA OR OTHER INDIRECT LOSSES. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or intentional wrongdoing, or for anything the law does not allow us to limit. Some states do not allow certain limits, so part of this clause may not apply to you.

18. Your data and privacy

We use the details you give us to build and support your Website and to contact you about it. We do not sell them or share them for advertising, and we keep them only as long as needed (we delete them within 90 days after our agreement ends, unless the law requires us to keep them). You can ask us to see, correct or delete them at any time, whether or not you live in California, and we will not treat you worse for asking. I work from Brazil, so your details are handled there and by our providers (such as hosting and PayPal) in other countries. If your Website collects inquiries from your customers, you are responsible for that data and we only handle it for you, as your service provider, and only to run your Website. Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. To make a privacy request, write to [email protected].

19. If you are a consumer

If you are ordering as a private individual and not for a business, these terms do not take away any consumer rights that your state gives you and that cannot be waived. U.S. law has no general right to cancel an online order after it is placed, so we give you our own: you may cancel for a full refund at any time before we start the final build (clause 15), and you can cancel monthly care at any time (clause 6). Nothing in these terms stops you from posting an honest review of us. To cancel, e-mail us at [email protected].

20. General

These terms, and the order you sent, are the whole agreement between us. If we change the terms later, the version you accepted still applies to your order. We may send notices to you by e-mail, and you may send notices to us at [email protected]. If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Neither of us may transfer the agreement to someone else without the other’s consent, and nobody else can enforce it. The agreement is governed by the law of the U.S. state where your business (or you, if you are a consumer) is located. We will first try to settle any problem by talking for at least 30 days. If that fails, either of us may bring a claim in a court of that state that is in the county where you are located, including small claims court where it is available. Nothing here limits any right you have under your state’s law that cannot be waived.
